Chapter 1:~The Girl Next Door~
“Everyone Keeps saying that you should only fall in love with people your own age,your own interests,your own hair color and your own shoe size,I believed all of that crap,Until I Met ‘him’ ,a special someone that changed my whole life changed forever.”
“For Those who do not know me,My Name is Niigaki Risa.But my friends call me Gaki-San,I’m 17 years old and I’m a 3rd year student at Momoguchi All girls high school.That guy riding the bike i’m on,That’s my boyfriend,Kobayashi Mamoru,Or Mamo-chan as I Call him,we’ve been going out since the end of junior high.”
“Come on Mamo-chan! Look a Fruit stand,Can you stop there,Onegai!~♥” ”I Asked him in a baby voice until he gave in.”
“Okay,Gaki-san” he replied. “Only if you stop shaking me.”
“Seno!” “Then I grabbed a banana from a box, a man was holding and then I said “Yatta! Arigato Dai-san! Don’t worry,I’ll pay you back when school’s over!”
“No Problem,Niigaki-San!” “That man,That is my very good friend,Daisuke-chan,he owns the local fruit stand.I can always talk to him about everything and get advice from him on life.”
“C’mon faster,I don’t want to be late!” That’s what I said to Mamo-chan,because I did not want to be late for school or not,Nakamura-sensei would put me in after lunch cleaning duties.Nakamura-sensei is the school vice-principal,she is the meanest person in the whole world,She’s so horrible,that last year,she gave me 10 detentions.
“Well,we’re here! Bye Gaki-san!” Mamo-chan said when we arrived at Momoguchi.
“Bye!” Then after that,I gave him a goodbye kiss and I jumped off Mamo-chan’s bike.
“Suggoi!” That’s what my friend,Takahashi Ai,Or Ai-chan, said about my usual grand entrance.Ai-chan and I Were friends since 6th grade.When I was getting back to class in 6th grade,I saw some girls picking on Ai-chan.Saying stuff like,”You don’t dress like us.”,”You will never be cool.”,”Hillbilly.” Then I told those girls to stop picking on her And then we got into a 3 against 1 fight and then we all got detention but then after saving Ai-chan,she thanked me after saving her.
“Another Kakkoi appearance this morning by the one & only Niigaki “the thunder” Risa!” “That’s also what my good friend,Kamei Eri,Or Kame-chan.She is my best friend longer than I could ever Imagine,I can always talk to her about everything,When she was little,she was a very shy girl and she was picked on very often for being so quiet,I was the first girl to befriend her,and since then,she’s become less shy.”
“All the girls were wowed when I made my usual big entrance,then,SHE came.”
“NIIGAKI-SAN! I WON’T LET YOU COME TO MY SCHOOL WITH A BOY!” “That’s what the wicked witch,Nakamura-sensei said,she was running! she did not let a boy come near her “Precious school”.So what,everyone falls in love and boys should be allowed to come to this school,even if I arrive to school with one everyday since I first came here.”
“Oh No! It’s the wicked witch!” “Then,I threw the banana peel on the sidewalk.”
“NIIGAKI-SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!” “That was the final thing Nakamura-sensei said before she slipped on the banana and fell.”
“Then everyone started laughing and then Ai-chan gave me a high-five.”
“Hey Gaki-san,How’s everything?” “Ai-chan asked me.”
“Everything’s fine,Dog’s Eating,My sister isn’t being as annoying as she always is,and everything’s been different since dad left.” “I Replied,The reason why my life has been sooo different lately was because my mom & dad got a divorce,They often fought a lot,Let me tell you the whole story about my mom & dad,My Dad,Is a Car dealer,He often gets angry easily,And sometimes,he got so angry,he destroyed everything and even hit my mom & and me on separate occasions,I Often would cry a lot because they would never even stop fighting over things.I still get to visit my dad on the weekends though.My mom works at the candy store,I Often go there to buy my 10 year old sister & me candy and It’s been really hard for her since the divorce,so I’ve been helping her manage the store and take care of my sister after school.”
“Still not tolerating the divorce,aren’t ya?” “Kame-chan asked me.”
“Yep,why did this have to happen,My Mom & dad could have just stop fighting.” “That’s what I said and told her if I wasn’t tolerating the divorce.”
“Well,You could have asked your dad to stop.” “Kame-chan Said.”
“Yeah,But it’s not like he’s going to stop,my dad is very strict.But he still cares about me.” “I said that because my dad is very stirct and it wouldn’t be a problem to call him a “Hothead” and he was also a yankii when he was a teenager,Thus explaing why is he sooo mean.”
“Okay,let’s change the subject,Is it true that you and Mamo-chan are going steady?!” “Ai-chan Asked me.”
“Well Ai-chan,after a date we had yesterday,he asked me If I wanted to go steady!” “I replied in a loud voice.”
“And…” “Kame-chan Asked me.”
“And I said yes!” “I screamed and jumped up!”
“No way,are you serious?!” “Ai-chan replied.”
“Yeah! I HAVE A BOYFRIEND! YATTA!” “I Screamed and jumepd in happiness,I was always known for my always happy reactions and I Was super happy because I finally had a steady boyfriend!”
“YATTA!” “We all jumped and screamed in happiness.”
“So should we celebrate in my mom’s candy store after school? My treat.” “that’s what I Said to Ai-chan & Kame-chan So I could see if they were going to the candy store with me afters chool to celebrate.”
“Sure!” “They replied.”
“Ding dong ding ding,dong,ding,ding dong!” The bell then later rung!”
“Well,it’s that time again.” “Ai-chan said.”
“Time for class.” “Kame-chan said.”
“I wonder what Sakamoto-sensei has in store for us.” “I asked.”
“Something fun,she always makes class fun.” “Kame-chan said.Sakamoto-sensei is the class 3-A teacher,she,unlike Nakamura-sensei,Is really nice and always fun,She is also really pretty and someone I can talk to always.She’s like an older sister to me,and almost every teacher & staff member at Momoguchi here are almost girls,Which makes it Really comfortable.”
“Oi,Niibaka,don’t u think you could be any more of an idiot.”
